Kandi Burruss Discussed Rnb Group Xscape Drama during New Interview.

Xscape is trying to find their way back into the RnB Scene of today and they are doing a D*** good job at it.

Fans of the RnB Group Xscape were exuberant when the curvaceous foursome took the stage at the BET Awards which they shut all the way down.

Immediately following that, Bravo offered the ladies a Reality Show Special of their own to showcase their talents. If you’ve been watching their show, then you’d know that their road to reconciliation has been less than stellar, but they’ve managed to keep afloat. To be fair, the Group has touched the stage together in 17 years.

Kandi Burruss Sat down with People Magazine and discussed Xscape’s reconciliation, drama, and more.

Kandi Burruss on the Group getting back together…

“What happened was a network was going to do an unauthorized movie about us, and of course I’m not going to let somebody just take my legacy. So I called my group members and we were all able to have a conversation to start trying to get our story told the right way”.

According to Burruss, band mate Tamika Scott lied in a past radio interview. Scott claimed that Burruss slept with Jermaine Dupri’s father and Burruss wanted to dispel that rumor.

“I was like, I need a public apology. She’s going to have to say to the world that the stuff that she said about me was a lie. And so in doing that — we did it on the radio — and the radio disc jockey, he’s like, ‘Oh, Xscape is back!’ I was like, ‘Xscape is not back!’ All of a sudden we started getting all these offers to perform and do shows, so I just went with the flow for the moment.”

She added, “It’s always drama. We all think differently when it comes to handling business, or at least, the three of them think differently than me. It’s always them three against me, and I feel like I’m always made to be the villain. It’s really irritating and stressful.”

Do you think the group will last?
